We have so many good memories of Haddie in N. Battleford...she was like a sister to mom (Mabel Davies) and an auntie to us "kids". I visited her once at her apartment in Saskatoon but she had already lost many of those memories. Her name came up often whenever the family got together and we would have been at the funeral had we known. Sincerest sympathy to all her family.

So sorry to hear of Hattie's passing. She was a lovely person and I was always welcome at the store/home when I would walk down from Crescent Beach. Everyone loved her; she was so good with the young people. My sincere sympathy goes to Rita and Norma and families.

Dear Norma, Willie, Rita and Vince, and your families.
I would have so liked to be at the funeral but I am sorry I am in Prince Albert all weekend. Hattie's last few years have been difficult both for her and for all of you but even though she is in a better place I know she will be missed. You were fortunate to have so many good years with her.
Blessings to all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

The great memories of Hattie and the store at Meeting Lake. They were one & the same. Whenever I think of Hattie, I see her standing behind the counter or behind the Post Office wicket. Or tsking over "you kids" after overhearing us girls discussing something we had been up to.
You lived a long & productive life with many memories. Rest in peace.

Grandma Henrietta. I met her years ago when I worked at Wal-Mart pharmacy, and I adored her. She would walk over to our place for visits, sometimes we would put her walker into our van and go shopping or to appointments. She would join us for birthday parties, and loved to listen to polkas while we would dance around. She always remembered my daughters, with a chocolate bunny, or a book as a gift. She had the best sense of humor, the best stories, and the biggest heart. She loved her family so much and spoke so fondly of them. I was honored to have met you, and be a part of your life. Thank you for being my grandma, because I didn't have one. I love you! Rest in peace.
