Howard Iseda Obituary

(89), passed away on January 10, 2017 in Santa Monica. He was born in Riverside, California on August 5, 1927. Following military service, including duty in the Korean War, Kho graduated from Woodbury College and enjoyed a long career with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, retiring in 1992. He was a devoted Board member, past President of the Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, long-time Board member and advisor to the LABCC Camp Program. He also was a past President of the Southern District BCA Council and served as a Vice President on the BCA National Council. He is survived by his wife, Minako "Minnie" Iseda; son, Gerald Iseda of CT; siblings, Elizabeth Chieko (Mits) Sato of Henderson, NV and Yasushi Iseda; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A funeral service will be held under the auspices of the Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00PM at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Dr., Culver City.
