I first learned of James Econn when I handled insurance matters for a small computer company in the early 1980s. Our broker was James Econn and Company. I worked directly with James' brother, Richard. I always had great respect for the Econns. James Econn and Company was a company of high professionalism and integrity. This was due to the leadership of James and later Richard. Both are gone now but the professionalism and integrity they inspired will continue in all who worked with them and knew them. My sincerest condolences to the Econn family.

My heartfelt condolences to Christine and her family on their great loss of a most wonderful person I had the pleasure to meet and get to know after my marriage to one of his oldest and closest friend. Jim was a true gentleman and a true friend during good times and bad ones. I will never forget his hospitality, his most kind assistance during trying times and his friendship.
An outstanding human being.
So sorry Jim and I cannot be there for the ceremony but we will always be with you in spirit.
Much love,
Sylviane
