Meeting you in grad school changed my life as we discovered such parallels that bonded us immediately as sisters. We saw our first counseling client together as newbies and thankfully, they came back! We lived together briefly as new grads before I moved away to Seattle and I loved making memories in that tiny apartment with you.
I miss your laughter, real talk with Bear sleeping on my head and your sincere kindness but know you are finally pain free, dancing in heaven and watching magnificent sunsets with the angels. You are forever in my heart.
*This photo of you is one I cherish. You were slowly losing your hair from chemo and asked me to do a braid. You rocked it! We appropriately had lunch that day at Café Gratitude, laughed and appreciated the ups and downs of life then went to the beach. Thank you Jess, you most definitely made the world a better place. ❤
