November 28, 1936 - February 3, 2012
18 yrs ago, Jim was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He endured his long illness with great dignity, love, and much support from his family and friends. Jim was loved by all that knew him. He had a very kind and loving soul; he will be greatly missed and forever remembered. James Carter Hermann II passed away peacefully at the age of 75 at home in Beverly Hills, CA. He is pre- deceased by his parents Carter and Polly Anne Hermann as well as by his two beautiful twin daughters, Gigi and Christina. He is survived by his devoted wife Eva and compassionate sister Betty Jane Tornstrom, as well as adoring nieces and nephews and several cousins. Services will be held at The Chapel of the Risen Christ, Holy Cross Cemetery on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Parkinson's Research Org, 74090 El Paseo, Suite 102, Palm Desert, CA 92260.

Jimmy and I were childhood friends - we were both in the choir at Good Shepherd - I have fond memories of playing 'soldier' together in the overgrown vacant lot we called 'Bataan' -- he was a good and loyal friend - it's no surprise that he was so well loved in later yeare - my sincere condolence to the family...
