Dear Jonathan, Annabel & Stephanie:
I know we do not know one another, as I only met Stephanie once when I went to go visit my mom (Marilyn) at Peter Lang. I just wanted you to let you know how sorry I am for the loss of your mother. My mom invited my husband & I to some great dinners at her house along with your mom & George, and I just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed your mom's company. Joany was adorable, and even though I did not know her well, I could tell that she was positive, fun and had great energy. I wish I could attend the service for your mom this weekend, but I have a prior commitment that I could not cancel. My deepest sympathies are with you at this difficult time.
Much love,
Tammy Tucker Dorman

Joany truly was a bright light and one of the chicest and most fashionable "grown-ups" I ever knew. I have such fond memories of Norman Place and hanging out with the Schwedes Girls!
She will indeed be missed, but her legacy lives on in her lovely daughters and wonderful extended family!
