John Graham Obituary
John Graham, 60, passed away peacefully at midnight, September 19, 2016 from a shocking brief illness associated with heart complications. At Simi Valley Hospital, John was surrounded by his loving family and friends. John is survived by his daughter, Juliana Marie Graham, 19, as well as his mother, Carolyn Duncan Stringer Graham, 87, his sister Annabel Everest Graham, 26, his brother Charles Vanderveer Graham, 49, his fiancée Rae Anne Michael, and his two stepmothers Janet Graham and Betty Graham. John was predeceased by his father, William A. Graham, a prominent television and film director. In the 1980's, John began his career in television, working for over thirty years as First Assistant Camera on numerous successful series, including Seinfeld, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Big Bang Theory, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Mad About You, Dr. Ken and Mom. Celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 1st, at 6539 Cleomoore Avenue, West Hills, California 91307.

John was such a kind soul who will be missed by many. Although I only knew him this year he left a great impact on my family. My mom was his fiancé and he had a special friendship with my 3 year old daughter, who he had such patience with. We are all better for having know him. He had a special ability to appreciate and capture beauty, we should all do more of that. I feel so blessed to have hundreds of amazing maternity and family photos he took just 1 week before he passed. I will cherish that gift always.

John was soft spoken, bright, skilled, with a subtle sense of humor, and I was lucky to have him as a friend. I'll always think of him when I see the NY Giants playing on TV. Rest in peace John.
