John Kubas Obituary

Kubas, John Creighton
Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2002 in Newport Beach. He was 65. With the aid of a football scholarship, John graduated from USC with a Bachelors Degree in US History in 1958. For the next fifteen years he served as History teacher and Varsity Basketball coach for Santa Ana Valley High School. For the last thirty years he has been widely known as the founder and owner of Villageway Management. John was known for his honesty, integrity and devotion to family, friends and business associates. John's openness and engaging smile will be missed by all. John is survived by Ardis Kubas his wife of 22 years, his mother, six brothers, two sisters, three sons, four daughters, 6 grandchildren (two more on the way), and 27 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be sent to the Leukemia Society of America, 2333 No. Broadway, Suite 320, Santa Ana, CA 92706. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church, 2046 Mar Vista Drive, Newport Beach, CA 92660.
