Libby Sklamberg Obituary

Sklamberg, Libby
April 9, 1933 - March 7, 2010
Survived by loving brother Mort Weinreb, devoted children Lorin Sklamberg and Michael Williams, Leslie Sklamberg, Leigh and Nimrod Haikin and adoring grandchildren Gilad and Ziv Haikin, and Julian, Ellis and Shea Shapiro-Barnum.
Born and raised in City Terrace, attended Wilson High School and UCLA. Beyond her family and multitude of dear friends, Libby's devotion extended to Jewish life, community service, theater and the perpetuation of yiddish culture. Her tireless commitment to youth activities and Torah was validated by many honors and awards, both on the local and regional level, from her several congregations and by the Women's League for Conservative Judaism (Torah Fund in particular). She was an award winning cook, with kugle recipes published across the country.
She will forever be in our hearts.
Services Wednesday, March 10, at 12:00 Noon. Mt. Sinai Hollywood Hills.
