Paulette Mumert

1927 - 2016

Paulette Natalie Mumert passed away peacefully in her sleep at a rehabilitation residence, shortly after being hospitalized for an illness. Born May 26, 1927, as the second of two children, daughters, to David and Rose Benjamin, Paulette herself had two children, James "Jim" Fuhrman and William "Bill" Fuhrman. Predeceased by Jim, her sister, and her parents, Paulette is survived by Bill and his daughter Shastina, and Donald Cerveris, her companion of many years. But for a period of 8 years in Marin County, California, Paulette was a life-long resident of Los Angeles, where she attended high school and college and, at one time, owned a women's fashion clothing store. She loved horses and was an avid fan of horse racing and baseball, particularly the San Francisco Giants. Paulette's ashes will be scattered after a Celebration of Life ceremony at the ocean, the place that brought her joy for many of her 88 years. Malinow & Silverman Mortuary, 800-710-7100
