Robert A. Wadsworth, 91, born May 2nd, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away August 11th, 2010 in Newport Beach, California.
Robert was a prominent Builder & Developer in Southern California for many years, residing in Bel Air with his family until 1977.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Maia J. Wadsworth, daughter Paula L. Wadsworth and son Robert M. Wadsworth.
He is survived by several of his children: James R. Wadsworth of Newport Beach, CA.; Elizabeth A. Boyle and husband William of Oceanside, CA.; Scott J. Wadsworth and wife Ginny of Bakersfield, CA.; Patricia M. Atherton of Reno, NV.; Paul K. Wadsworth of Carpenteria, CA.; Susan R. Marquart and husband Michael of Carpenteria, CA.; Bradley M. Wadsworth and wife Sherry of Bakersfield, CA.; Victoria S. Cowan of Vista, CA., and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. His sister Virgina Oster resides in Palm Desert, CA.
He is also survived by his wife Lois Wadsworth of Newport Beach and her three daughters Donna McMeikan and Husband Bruce of Newport Beach, CA.; Jill Paul and husband Dave of Laguna Beach, CA.; Krista Arellano and husband Frank of Santa Ana, CA. and their families.
Robert passed away peacefully at home with his eldest son James by his side, and we are so grateful that he was there for him and that our loving and compassionate Father was not alone, nor did he suffer.
Private Family Services will be held out at sea, off the Coast of Santa Monica, California.
