Selma June Lawrence

Selma died peacefully November 10 after a rich and love-filled life. She was 99 years old. Selma was an intellectually curious woman who made friends instantly with her warm smile and ready laugh. She was an elegant lady, a bright, vivid, presence in our lives, and a loving wife to her husband of 68 years, Jerry who died at 94, eight years ago. They relished entertaining and their parties were legend. Selma loved books and crossword puzzles and the arts. She gave the gift of that appreciation to her two sons, Tony and Steve, and daughter in law Vera who survive her. She taught us the value of constant learning, of good friends, good taste, and good living. She was a great blessing in our lives and leaves us with lavish memories of her gracious heart and generous spirit.
