Helen Rothbart, 92, was born Helen Brenner on April 30, 1921 in Los Angeles, CA to Adolph and Bessie Brenner. She was the younger of two children. Helen was predeceased by her older brother, Bob Brenner. She attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School and later Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Helen married Maynard Rothbart in Long Beach on August 25, 1940. They were owners of Rothbart's Jewelry in Long Beach, established in 1925 at the corner of Broadway and Pine Avenue. She loved dancing, travelling and spending time with her family. Helen is survived by her two children, Gary Rothbart (Deborah) and Barbara Rothbart. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Michael Baker (Lisa), Lynn DeMicheli, Michele Felsot (Matthew) and Mara Rothbart. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Jordyn Baker (5), Alexis DeMicheli (5), Ella Felsot (4) and Asher Felsot (2). She also was recently told that another Baker great-grandson is due in February of 2014.
