Jimmy….

A thousand times we needed you
A thousand times we cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died

A heart of gold stopped beating
Two twinkling eyes closed to rest
And out of many friends we all agree
You were one of the very best

We looked to you for guidance
Your wisdom was so true
Now we sit and wonder
What would Jimmy do?

But we all know you
Wouldn't want us to be sad
Instead you would tell us
Remember the time we had

And so my friend, my teacher
With a heavy heart I pray
That you will watch over us
Until we meet again someday

We miss you Papa Smurf!

Jimmy was a good friend, great counselor, and an excellent boss. 13-1/2 years knowing him suddenly seem so short. He's left behind an empty spot in this world and it will never be filled. Sayonara, Boss-san... Dewa mata ne? (Goodbye for now, Boss... See you later, ok?)
