Jay Krick Obituary

Jay Richard Krick

Palmyra - Jay Richard Krick, 58, a lifelong resident of Palmyra, PA, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 30, 2018. Born June 15, 1960 to the late Richard and Mary Ann (Perini) Krick, Jay was known and loved by many.

Jay is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy (Moore); his son, Jay Krick II; his daughter, Tiffany, wife of Steve Martz; his grandson, Lucas, of Summerdale; his sister, Marcia, wife of Denny Richie of Palmyra; brother-in-law, Kazou Yoshitake of Carlisle; sister-in-law, Lynda Martin of Carlisle; and nephew, Aaron Holler, husband of Nicole, of Carlisle. He will also be missed dearly by his beloved dogs, Shelah, Zeus and Milo.

Jay was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying time spent in the woods with his son, who was his best friend. He also loved golfing, football, and horseshoes. Jay worked for New Enterprise Stone and Lime as a heavy equipment operator.

A graduate of Palmyra High School in 1978, Jay maintained lifelong friendships with his buddies, and delighted in making them laugh. He will be fondly remembered for his zest for life and boisterous personality. Jay truly was strong as an ox, yet soft as a butterfly.

A celebration of Jay's life is scheduled for July 14, 2018 with details to be shared by Bronagh Houser. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to either the Penn State Cancer Institute at https://cancer.psu.edu or the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania at www.kfcp.org.
