Randy Hartle, 73, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Dove Healthcare - Rutledge Home, surrounded by his loved ones.
Randy was born on October 22, 1951, to Marvin and Agnes Hartle, and was preceded in death by both of his parents. He graduated from Menomonie High School in 1969 and proudly served in the U.S. Army.
After his time in the Army, Randy spent many years in Colfax where he was blessed with his children, Barry and Angela. He worked for many years at TriMart and later transitioned to an independent contractor for FedEx Ground, where he worked with skill and pride for many years.
It was during this time in Colfax and working for TriMart, that he met his wife, Ann Gonstead, and eventually moved to Eau Claire. Randy and Ann were married in 1997, and he lovingly adopted her children, Joshua and Jacob Haley, raising them as his own. He was a solid, steady family man and a deeply devoted father.
In 2013, Randy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, but he and Ann embraced life to the fullest despite his diagnosis. They embarked on numerous travels, exploring new places and creating lasting memories. Camping trips became a family affair. Their pontoon boat was often filled with loved ones as they cruised the lake. Any excuse to get the family together, they took. These shared experiences strengthened their bonds and brought joy to their remaining days.
Randy was a man of few words, but when he spoke, it was usually to deliver a one-liner that brought laughter and smiles to everyone's faces. He'll be remembered for his exceptional work ethic, the deep love he had for his wife and family, and his unwavering support for those he cared about. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; his children, Barry (Joey) Hartle, Angela (Patrick) Marriott, Joshua (Carla) Haley and Jacob (Jacque) Haley; his grandchildren, Breeann Hartle, Shyanne Haley, Sara Marriott, Tayla Haley, Abigail Haley, Hunter Haley, Delaney Copus and Christopher Komanec; his sister, Colleen (Mike) Bark and brothers, Greg (Ginny) Hartle and Tim (Aline) Hartle.
Randy's family will be eternally grateful for the loving care he received from the staff at Dove Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls.
