Joseph Henry Dickman, formerly of Kittanning, passed away peacefully at Hamot Hospital in Erie. Joe was born on November 4, 1946, in Kittanning, and was the son of the late Vincent DePaul Dickman and Alice Irene (McClafferty) Dickman.
He graduated from Elderton Joint High School in 1964. He served in the Army for 9 years during the Viet Nam War. After that he worked as a food inspector for the government.
Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman plus a super fan of the Pirates and Steelers. Additionally, he enjoyed family activities.
He is survived by his sister Carol Wilson of Zelienople and his brother Patrick (Sue) Dickman of Shelocta. He was also blessed to have four loving nieces, Georgetta, Kristy, Colleen, and Anne. Additionally, he enjoyed being with his great nieces and nephews, Andrew, Nathan, Kenzie
Private services will be held at the Kennedy and Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning with Father Ronald Maquinana officiating.
Interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.

Joe was a good friend I got to know him when he lived in Wisconsin, we hunted and fished together and shared good times. I often thought of him after he moved back home, I just learned of his passing now, so sad, me and his other friends here in Wisconsin miss him
