I miss you girl and still to this day think about calling you but I can't....Your gone and all I can do is remember all the times I got to spend with you....hurts though because there are not to many good friends in the world and one of the good ones I had is gone, you always was a real good friend and I thank you for that! I love you girl, and I will miss you always!

Though this message is late, I hope that it still brings joy to the heart of Amber's loved ones. She touched many lives and most of which she had no idea. She had a radiant joy within that was contagious to even the most angry and battered souls. I pray that her family finds peace in the future knowing that in her short time on Earth, SHE MADE A DIFFERENCE.

When she was here not a day went by that I didn't think of her. I remember the first time I ever saw her pulling up in her red X-Terra. She was so cool. I was only 16, she must have been 21 or 22 at the time. I'm 23 now and we have shared so many great memories in our time together. She was a duck and I was a pig. She has and always will be my inspiration of who I want to be. She loved God and her friends and family. She never gave up or turned her back on them. She was the best friend I have ever had. Nobody will be able to fill her shoes. The only thing that gives me some peace is knowing that if I live my life through her and praise God ,even half as much as she did, then he will allow me to be with her again one day. Until then I will devote my life if I must to make sure that your memory lives on forever. You were too much, too great, too big of a person to be here with us. I love you so much!

The world has truly lost a wonderful and beautiful person, but I know the heavens are rejoicing with a new member of the heavenly family. Ms. Hawkins (as I will always know her) was my teacher at SUSCC. She shared with our class so much advice and was an inspiration to all of us. I know she loved the Lord...she shouted his praises in the classroom. She was also a great friend and will forever be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hawkins and Gardner families. We will miss you Ms. Hawkins! Love always

Dustin, My heart goes out to you and your families as you face the days ahead. The pain of grief at times will be unbearable, but it helps to remember the good times, her smile and her zest for life. She was my instructor at CTC for Business Management and I enjoyed her class so much. I was looking forward to future classes with her. I cried when I heard the news because the world lost a great person and I cried tears of joy because I know she is with her mother whom she missed so terribly. Stay Strong, and pray. God will walk with you to help ease your pain.

I miss you so very much. I shed a tear for you every day when I hear a song that reminds me of you, or remember some funny or kind thing that you did. I'm trying so hard to be strong but this is THE hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. God, I miss you! I'm getting you inked on me, whew! That will be scary but it's worth it to have you with me forever. I'm praying for the rest of the family and all the friends who loved you and trying not to lose my mind for them. Where do I even begin? You were the sister I never had. We were best friends since the 7th grade & I still remember the first time you came over to spend the night. You made me laugh so hard with all your crazy impressions of people. I am thankful for all the crazy times & memories we had together throughout the years. I am also thankful that during your time here you were able to accomplish so many of the goals you set out to do & just lived life to the fullest. I feel so lucky to have had you a part of my life & will keep you in my heart forever. There is a void there now that can never be replaced. You were truly one of a kind. Amber was my 2nd cousin and when we were little we were pretty close,as the years passed by though we lost touch and went our own seperate ways,but anytime there was a family get together,and she was there we always seemed to pick up where things left off, she will be greatly missed even though we werent that close anymore i still loved her and i always will.

I went to high school with Amber and I had not seen her since she visited my church (Christian Heritage) months back. From talking with her I knew she loved children and treasured life. She was the same sweet girl I knew from high school. I hate it that I did not know her more than I did. She seems to have touched the lives of so many. My heart is broken! Amber was such a special person and could definately light up a room. I first met her about 10 years ago from her best friend Bethann, who is a dear friend of mine. Amber was a truly inspirational and most beautiful woman inside and out. I am so thankful that I had the honor to know such an amazing person. My heart breaks to know that we will never see her gorgeous smile or hear here contagious laugh. I will always love her, and remember all the advice and all her stories that she gave me.
