Clarence B. Blackmon September 9, 1928 - April 19, 2004 OAKLAND, CA - Bishop Clarence B. Blackmon Pastor, Founder and Organizer of the "Mount Calvary Center of Deliverance" Church of the Living God P.G.of T. Founded in 1952 at 3131 Magnolia Street in Oakland, Calif. Bishop Blackmon later moved to Phenix City, Ala., where he organized The Church of the Living God. He returned to Oakland in 1958 and organized The Church of the Living God at 667 7th Street. The church later relocated to our present address is: 10225 Edes Avenue. He also served on the Bishop Council; Headquarters located at: 1112 S. Ewing Street, Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27 from Battle-Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, 434 South Seale Road, Phenix City. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Ala. A memorial service is to be held at "Mt. Calvary" Church of the Living God, 10225 Edes Avenue, Oakland, CA 94603 on Sunday, May 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be forwarded to "Mt. Calvary" C.O.T.L.G. Building Fund. All checks/money orders are asked to be made out to Church of the Living God, and sent to: "Mt.
