To the Crook family,

I was a friend of Eddie's in Berlin when we served there in 1957 and 58. He was a tremendous athlete, and so much more. A pure "gentleman", the kind that passes not too often in our lives.

My condolences to you all.

Alison,

I know a candle burns brightly in heaven for your father to welcome him home. Through the tears you will begin to remember the smiles you brought to each other and the memories you created together as father and daughter. Embrace these as the solace they can be and keep them near to your heart for those times when you will need them the most. He will always will be with you.

Thinking of you. Betsy

To God Be the Glory for the things he has done!! This is a celebration of a life well lived. Honor and Glory is due to him. He is at peace and I'm sure he is proud of his time well spent on this earth, but now is the time to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior. To Alison, keep your head up and keep that encouraging smile on your face. He is in a better place! He is rejoicing right now over his life with God. Even during his last days he really didn't remember much, Right now he knows who each and every one of you are. Be blessed and know, God is God, and he always will be God.
