Dr. Stivarius was a wonderful man. When he retired my husband and I were so upset that he was no longer our dentist. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Dr. Stivarius' family. Dr. Stivarius was my families dentist from the time I was 2 until I was well into my 30's. I loved his calming voice and his laugh. The two of us would always talk about how we prepared our ribs for barbequing. We shared cooking secrets while he worked on my teeth. What wonderful memories I have of such an awesome and humble man. I remember him always talking about taking care of his mother whom he loved so dearly. I just know that he is happy being reunited with her and standing in the presence of God looking down on each one of you. God Bless you all during this difficult time.

We are saddened to hear of Dr. Stivarius passing. He was the Best Dentist Ever! He was such a gentle and kind man. He was my childhood dentist, and then my family dentist up until his retirement. He was so kind to me and my son at every appointment. He knew my Grandmother and family, and he would always ask about them every time we would visit him. He will be deeply missed. God Bless his Family. May wonderful memories comfort you at this time.

My sincerest condolences during this difficult time. I enjoyed every minute I spent with him over the past 5 months. He was a genuine person who valued hard work and morality. He had a quick sense of humor and was always thoughtful. He loved his family dearly and spoke of them so lovingly during our visits. He was our dentist from the early 60's on. What I remember was how gentle and kind he was. I had more than my share of novicane shots and can say he made them painless--He was a wonderful dentist and friend to our family

I was just thinking about Dr. Stivarius the other day. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a one-of-a kind dentist. Even after I was grown, he never let me see that needle! So sweet to me and eventually my children went to him. Judy, you may not remember me, but my son, Scott Bobo, was a student of yours at Double Churches. My prayers go out to you and all the family.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Stivarius on a fall Saturday morning as a freshmen in high school. I had pulled out my front tooth while biting down on a candy apple at the Columbus High vs. Central football game. He never forgot that event, even after 40 plus years. Many of my less than stellar teeth are still in my head because of Dr. Stivarius. I will miss this kind and gentle man. Rest in peace, Dr. Stivarius.

Throughout life we will know one person who is unlike any other. You can talk to this person and never lose interest. You can tell him things and be heard without judgement. You can cry on his soft heart and feel secure. You can give your heart without reason. I would place that person before myself and all that I stand for. That person, my friends, was my "Uncle Harry"! I will miss you good looking! Dave

Harry will be missed by many and no less by me. A friend always, St. Peter will see him coming from a great distance. I hope for all of us that we could be only half as good a person as he was. His goodness will always be branded upon my mind and heart.
Harry, you were the greatest.
Now you can view the universe from the hightest plain, I will be joining you one day.
Your Friend Always,

My heart goes out to Vicki, Judy, David and the rest of the Stivarius family. Dr. Harry was my one and only dentist until I married and moved away from Columbus. He was so kind, caring and skilled that we never “dreaded” our visits to his office. I also remember his visits to our classes at Rigdon Road Elementary every year to teach hundreds of kids how to take care of their teeth. He was one in a million and made a difference for the better in so many lives. He will be missed.

Dr. Stivarius was my dentist for over 40 years. Such a sweet and caring person. He always asked about my family and how everyone was doing. He also could tell you everything that was going on in Columbus! Much more gossip than going to the beauty shop! I have missed him since he retired!

Dr. Stivarius was our dentist for many years, and we were very fond of him. He also was a neighbor of my Uncle Roy and Aunt Willene who also had a cabin on the backwater. He was a fine man.
