Phenix City, Alabama - Mrs. Katie Bell Jackson, 99, of Phenix City, AL passed on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral service will be held 12 noon EST, Sunday, December 12, 2021 at New Bethel Independent Church, Midway, AL with Rev. Jerome Anthony, officiating. Interment to follow in Church Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Jackson born January 21,1922 to the late Griffin and Viola Anthony in Bullock County. She was a member of New Independent Church.
Survivors include six children, Katie (Thomas) Smith, Annie (Edward) Cliatt, Lucy (Tommie) Harris, Willie (Mary) Jackson, Geraldine Gosha and Griffin (Freda) Jackson; 21 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 14 great- great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
