Lendon was one of the very few people I befriended in law school. I spotted him right away during the first couple of days of our first year. I found him to be incredibly kind, sweet, and handsome. I think about him every single day. I loved him very much and my heart breaks for his family because he had so much more to accomplish and so many decades left to continue making his family proud. I often think of Lendon's mother because I know how much he loved her. His face would light up when he would talk about her. I always thought that Lendon would eventually become involved in politics and represent the state of Georgia in Congress. He was just so charismatic and absolutely everyone loved him. He had so many talents, not the least of which was an incredible singing voice. I will never forget how kind he was to drive me to IKEA, spend the entire day waiting for me to get everything together, and bring all my furniture back. That's the kind of person he was. He was absolutely selfless. On the way back, we sang a song that was popular at the time called "Jealous" by Nick Jonas. I was in awe of his talent for singing and he encouraged me to sing with my terrible voice. I spent many nights in law school watching TV with Lendo and another couple of friends, eating very spicy chicken wings. I will love this man for my whole life. Rest in peace friend. Thank you for the memories. Wherever I go, I will carry your name with me and try to embody everything that I admired about you.

My deep condolences to the family. I am Alfreda Robinson, GW Law Associate Dean for Trial Advocacy, and the President-Elect of the National Bar Association. I had the high privilege and pleasure of introducing Lendon to the joy and honor of Bar Leadership. Even as a student member of the NBA Board of Governors, Lendon took to bar governance and campaigns naturally and enthusiastically. He understood the importance and nuances of non-profit governance. He understood the continued need to advance civil rights for all. He was uniquely gifted young man, who loved bar activities. He was instrumental in my Bar success. I will miss him, his talents, and terrific smile. Blessings to All, AR

In your time of sorrow,
Know that God is there,
He will hold you in His arms
And wipe away your tears
He understands your pain;
He feels the grief you feel
Just give to Him your broken heart,
For He, in time, will heal.

I was a Professor who taught Lendon at the George Washington University Law School. He was bright and hardworking and willing to share his insights with others. The legal profession has lost a great light. He will be missed.

Valerie, Charles and Dr. Emory Alexander,
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to each of you in the going home of Lendon. He was a kind, loving, funny and bright young man. Lendon went to Hardaway High school with our daughter, Caya. We are all heart broken at your loss. Please know we will be praying for you as you journey through this transition. Remember, God promises to comfort those who mourn and that He will be with you as you go through this difficulty, (Matthew 5:4 and Jeremiah 31:13.) To the family. May the strength of your solitude guide you through the waves during the coming days. May this humble servant of GOD continue to watch over the flock that vigilantly protect those that must walk a similar path in the future. I never met him personally, but from what I heard recently he lived life to the fullest extent. His example will Echo for other to follow throughout eternity. Reflect and rejoice everyday by telling all about him. Many hard felt condolences from me and the family. Rick Brown
