Stephen ÒSteveÓ Scott Sabens June 26, 1959- February 15, 2008 COLUMBUS, GA— Stephen ÒSteveÓ Scott Sabens, 48, of Columbus, GA died Friday February 15, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday February 18, 2008 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Sabens was born June 26, 1959 in Ft. Church, Canada son of Charles Henry Sabens and Rosemarie Zacharias Sabens. He had worked for Pratt&Whitney with 25 years of service and was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include his sister, Susan Dunahoo of Columbus, brothers, Charles (Mary) Sabens of Anniston, AL , Michael S. (Shelia) Sabens of Hiram, GA, 3 nieces, Jenny Buran, Audrey Dunahoo, and Elizabeth Sabens, 3 nephews, Michael J. Sabens, Charlie (Lindsey) Sabens, Chris (Kim) Sabens, David Sabens, 2 great nieces and his 2 loving dogs.
