Columbus, GA- Vanesha Snipes 30, of 2429 Avalon Road passed Tuesday November 20, 2012 at Columbus Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM today, Wednesday November 28, 2012 at Greater Beallwood Baptist Church, 4419 Sherwood Avenue with the Pastor Rev. Willie L. Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Beallwood Cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC. Ms Snipes was born June 30, 1982 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of James and Virginia Borders Snipes. Vanesha was a member of Greater Beallwood Baptist Church and employed with Chili's Restaurant. She leaves to cherish her memories other then her parents 2 sons, Tyreke Snipes and Tyrell Snipes both of Columbus; a daughter, Ty'Teyana Snipes, Columbus; brothers, James(Tony)S. Snipes(Faith), Columbus and William(Wayne)D. Snipes(Mary); a sister, Classica Williams; 7 aunts, Debra Borders(Pete), Mary Borders(Clyde), Sandra Lloyd(Joe), Juanita Reese(Wilbur), Bernice Borders(Clarence), Cathy Raiford and Ollie Seldon(Albert); 2 uncles, Clifton Borders(Rita) and Clayton Borders(Bernice); 5 nephews, 3 nieces and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Dang! Nesha I just found out! I don't believe it! This is so surreal! When you told me you were sick I would have never thought how bad. You kept a positive attitude about it. Every day you did your best to make sure you picked your kids up from school. And you never stopped smiling. This was right before you were called home and totally unexpected!You showed your strength til the end.....May you forever rest in peace.

Can't believe were going into this mothers day w/o you physically. My heart is so heavy right now. Just last year we were sitting in your room laying on the bed talking....ill never forget that big tight hug you gave me on mothers day, that smile saying ,"thank you sis". Dang man...we miss you baby girl, u were a mother to all "9" of ur kids! (that's how you would say it lol). Love you!!!!

I'm so sorry tony & Wayne for the lost of ur sister ur friend she was all of that. It hurt me to find out my childhood upcoming friend is gone. I just found out. We was good Peabody friend always joked and said thing to each other to put a smile on our faces but we will meet up again someday joking like always so sad word can not describe my feeling now. I'm Amy love! I will miss her.

Baby girl I still can't believe that you're gone. I'm still waiting on you to walk through my back door or even sit on the end of the bed at your house just talking. I miss you like crazy but I know that you are no longer suffering. The strength you showed was so amazing. You fought a good fight and that's what is sticking with me. In your words: “Take a chance” is what I learned from you. Take a chance and fight, be strong and fight until God see fit.. Every time you got information you smiled and said, “But that's just man talking, they're not God.” I am so happy and honored to be your sister in law. Actually, I'm happy and honored to be your sister, because that is what we are and always will be. I love you so much Nesha, thank you for loving me and the kids.
