Gary Bosse Obituary

WILTON - Gary C. Bosse Sr., 66, of Temple Road, Wilton, passed away Sunday, Apr. 26, 2015 at Dartmouth Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. following a period of failing health. He was born May 22, 1948, son of the Late Norman W. and Marion (Bickmore) Bosse.

Gary was a Vietnam War Veteran. He went on to further service his community by proudly serving for 39 years as a fire fighter on the Wilton Fire Department. He worked at N.H. Ball Bearing, OK Tools, The Recycling Center and for many years he was employed as a machinist at Hendrix Wire & Cable in Milford. He was a Karaoke DJ and loved to sing and entertain people. For many years he played Santa Claus for children that remained a treasured memory of his. He was also a fan of Harry Potter books as well as a recreational golfer and Red Sox Fan.

Gary was the devoted husband of Roseann (Mastro) Bosse, to whom he had been married for nine years. He is survived by his three sons of his former wife, Margaret Tuttle, Gary C. Bosse Jr. and wife, Amy; Randy Bosse and wife, Amanda, Branden Bosse and companion, Christie Benoit. He was also step-father to three step-daughters, Roseann Burback, Rhonda Gaybor and husband, Victor, and Rachel Bernando and late husband Michael. He has four grandchildren Shanleigh, Tyrnan, Jacob and Logan, five step-grandchildren Ashlynn, Alexis, Noah, Vincezo and Nicolo. He is also survived by a sister, Sharon L. Carpenter of Vero Beach, Fla. a brother, Richard L. Bosse of Vero Beach, Fla. his sister-in-law, Danielle U. Bosse, wife of his predeceased brother N. Charles Bosse, his many nieces, nephews, cousins as well as his dear friends, David Proctor and Joseph Torre, who were all a joy in his life.

The Celebration of Life gathering took place on May 3, 2015 at Bent-Burke Post #10, American Legion in Wilton. To honor Gary's strong sense of community, in lieu of flowers, his family request donations to be made in his name to the Open Cupboards Food Panty, P.O. Box 111 Wilton, N.H. 03086.
