I will never forget the sincere love and passion Mr. Stone had for others around him which was evident from the moment you met him. My fondest memory I have was learning how to tie a bow tie from him. I had always wanted to learn the true gentlemen's art and my mother told me that I should learn from the best. After phoning him, he told me to come right over. We only spent maybe 20 or so minutes together in front of the mirror and with helpful hints and tips from Mrs. Stone watching on I've never forgotten how. I remember he told me how to "fiddle with it" to get it just right, but "not too perfect, or else people won't know you're wearing a real bow tie." Every time I wear a bow tie now after all those years, I still remember Mr. Stone. Just a simple memory but one that I cherish.
