Marcia Page Obituary

BROOKLINE, N.H. -- Marcia Spock Page, 71, passed away January 13, 2018 peacefully surrounded by her family after a battle with Alzheimer's. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Lawrence Barn in Hollis, N.H.
Marcia was raised in Manville, New Jersey by parents Jack and Mary Spock with three brothers Jack, Ray, and Ron. She graduated from Manville High School in 1964, where she was captain of the drill team. Marcia then received a B.A. from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1968 with a major in Math. She was active in the Newman Club and traveled throughout the US representing the New Jersey chapter. After college, Marcia found her calling for teaching while serving in the Peace Corps in Sabah, Malaysia. She loved to travel and spent time in Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, and Spain, among many other countries. Upon return, Marcia received a Master of Arts in Teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson in 1972. She met Calvin F. Page in 1976 on a blind date, married and raised children Kenneth J. and Laura H. in Brookline, New Hampshire. Marcia was a dedicated high school math teacher, who spend many years teaching at High Mowing School in Wilton. She was passionate about helping students achieve greatness through discovering their learning style.
Marcia was steadfast in everything she aimed to achieve and was a dedicated wife, mother, family member, teacher, friend, Sudoku solver, historical fiction reader, international folk dancer, tennis lover and knowledge seeker. Marcia is survived by her husband of 39 years, Calvin, son Kenneth (Elizabeth) of Hollis, N.H., daughter Laura of Brooklyn, New York, two granddaughters, brothers Ray (Dee) of Panama City Beach, Florida, Ron (Ginnie) of Niceville, Florida, and many loving family members.
