Robert Hoey Obituary
He was born in Marlborough, Mass. on Feb. 17, 1958, son of Robert Hoey and Rose M. Hartley Christmas. He is predeceased by both of his parents. He grew up in Marlborough, Mass.
He was employed for the last 18 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator at CJ Mabardy of Cambridge, Mass. He was formerly employed at CMS Trucking of Marlborough, Mass. also as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
He was a cancer survivor and an avid Harley Davidson rider. He had a great love of the outdoors, including four-wheeling, snowmobiling, his garage and the love of his chickens. His passion was the love of construction and working with his hands and creating things from scratch. He was a loving brother, father and a good friend.
He was a loving father and is survived by his two daughters, Tanya Hoey of Jaffrey, and Tiffany Hoey of Townsend, Mass. His grandchildren with Tanya Hoey include, Kaylee Rose Hoey and Evan Sweeney, both of Jaffrey.
He is survived by his brother, Alan McKenzie of Fitzwilliam, brother, Randy Christmas and his wife, Michelle Christmas of Jaffrey, sister, Jean White and her husband, Kim White of Unity, N.H., many nieces and nephews, and loving companion Cheryl Kuzmitch.
Calling hours are private. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday July 25 at JP Stephen's Restaurant in Rindge from 1 - 5 p.m.
The Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey is assisting the family with arrangements.
