Adam A. Carver, 33, of Bloomington died at 8:35 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. A service celebrating his life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Arnold, Mo., with family members officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends following the service. Calvert and Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements. Adam was born Feb. 8, 1975, in Los Angeles, the son of Robert Wayne and Marcella Rose Grunloh Carver. Survivors include his sister, Juanita Carver of Altamont; brothers, Dennis (Carrie) Carver of Arnold, Mo., and Robert Carver of St. Louis; nephews, Jason and Jordon Carver of Arnold, Mo.; and nieces, Alexis Carver of Arnold, Mo., and an infant niece of Altamont. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Crystal.

There are not enough words to express my sympathy for all of you, Dennis Bobby & Nita. My heart goes out to you and I sincerely mean it when I say that he will be truly missed. I have known Adam for 18 years now & it's hard to imagine a world without him but the place he is in now is one of peace.

It was a real shocker to hear Adam passed Ive known him a long time we were roomates at one time way back in our crazy days although we lost touch for a while we managed to see one another last year .He will be miss by all who knew him.

Adam was a good friend. And the thought of some one young as he was dying is very sad. And he still had his whole life in front of him too. But you got to look at it like this he is in a better place next to our savior Jesus Christ. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
