Ed, Amy, Joe, Ashley, Aaron and Family:

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you daily in the search for peace and comfort during the most difficult time in your lives. Adam was a member of our extended family and we all are grieving with you. His laugh, smile, manners, kindness, gentleness and humor list among the few of the wonderful attributes that contributed to the handsome, considerate young man that we watched him grow to become. As his presence is deeply missed, the great memories he left behind with us are forever cherished.

I put this on the facebook website, but I also wanted to share this with others who aren't able to view it:

"The righteous man, although he die early, will be at rest. For old age is not honored for length of time, nor measured by number of years; but understanding is gray hair for men...There was one who pleased God and was loved by him...Being perfected in a short time he fulfilled long years; for his soul was pleasing to the Lord."

Wisdom of Solomon 4:7-15

You were perfected, and lived life like people should - with joy. Thank you for all the wonderful times.

Adam, you are like a brother to me. I love you so much. Memory eternal.

To the Kostial/Pozycki families:

You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Adam's impact in my life truly cannot be expressed in words. Consider this as an indication of how well your family has raised this wonderful young man.

Dear Amy, Ashley, Aaron, Ed,

I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy. In losing Adam we are reminded of how precious our time on earth is. Adam taught me how to live each day to the fullest. I know that even though Adam is not with us, his spirit continues to guide us through the difficult times. I will never forget Adam Edward Kostial, not only a friend, but a guide through some very difficult times.

I'm send my deepest sympathy to Adam's family. In high school he was truely a funny character. He brought a lot of laughs and excitement ot the classroom. I thought everyone would be at our 5 or 10 year reunion, but God has the master plan. Keep God in your heart, and don't stop doing anything that you're were going to do, because he's looking down watching you and taking care of you.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting your son, I wanted to express my sincere sympathy and also appreciation for all the families and friends of those who will benefit by your life-saving decision in what must have been the most difficult time in your life. Just three weeks ago, I sat with my 26 year old friend's mother while we were waiting for surgeons to replace his CF stricken lungs and liver with those of a man from a wonderful family who also made this choice. As we sat there, our thoughts were not only with my friend but also with the grieving family of the man. We spoke of how we wished there was a way for the family to know how much we appreciate their gift and our desire to honor the man and his family for the rest of my friend's life. The next day when I saw my friend with pink skin for the first time in years I again thought about the family of the man. Now my friend has two birthdays: the day he was born; and the day a grieving family from SC saved his life. Please know many thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and your wonderful gift will live on.

I graduated with Adam. He was a friendly, charming, intelligent person who was a positive influence on everyone he was around. Adam left far too early, but take some solace in knowing he did great good even in his short time.
