Scott, Dianne and family I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Aimee. I only remember meeting her one time at Dianne's home when Jim passed but I remember hearing many stories of how full of life she was. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God grant you peace in knowing she is with the Lord and comfort the ache you have in your hearts. Love and Prayers, Serena

Aimee is the quintessential perfect mommy. I know from my own personal experience from being on the receiving end that Aimee will continue to mother her children from beyond the veil. Ohhhh how I know this is in fact true.
When Aimee would babysit, Mason and I would come home to the house cleaner than we left it, the boys all googly eyed (because crushes, duh), and little notes on everything they ate, drank, read, homework completed....you name it. Mind you, she was only 12 or 13!!!! Mothering has always been in her blood. I'm sure her sister, Michele, would agree. (I'm a little sister, too....oh the joy. Haha)
Once she called me for a ride back to the high school for a gymnastics meet. It was raining and her mom wasn't home from work yet. Amy walked out of her home with (I kid you not) a gymnastics bag twice her size. I busted out laughing. (She's very tiny). She threw that thing over her shoulders like a boss. Always had me chuckling.
I recently heard the expression when someone passed away that "he graduated mortality." Well, Aimee not only graduated mortality, but she graduated with a PhD. She nailed this life. "Well done thy good and faithful servant." I LOVE YOU

We all as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, grieve the loss of our sweet Aimee. My most sincere prayer that you Brother Shemwell and your family will feel and be comforted by the Holy Spirit during this difficult time. From President Janes Faust: ... The Holy Ghost bears witness of the truth and impresses upon the soul the reality of God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ so deeply that no earthly power or authority can separate him from that knowledge. Hope you and yours will feel His constant companionship.. My love to you and your family. May God bless you all.

Aimee,
You were a beautiful vivacious loving spirit and daughter of Heavenly Father and loved life and those who shared it with you in all you did. While I imagine the spirits wept as you made your way to earth, those you leave behind here will weep as well...but also know they are so blessed that they had the privilege to know you. You are a wonderful mother and have been a great example and will remain one. Though your loved ones are broken and devastated now, I pray they will find strength though our Savior, the knowledge that families are forever and know they will join you again. I pray your parents and your husband be strong, able to get past the pain, and feel you through your wonderful babies you leave behind here. The love your showed and shared and how you helped and touched others will not be forgotten. Hugs, love, and prayers.
