Alan Harless, 48, of North Platte passed away March 5, 2009, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. He was born June 8, 1960, in Guymon, Okla., to Milton and Barbara Harless.

His hobbies included fishing, camping and woodworking. He enjoyed taking trips with his wife and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife, Mariann of North Platte; son, Desmond; parents, Milton (Carol) Harless of Cortez, Colo. and Barbara Davis of Amarillo, Tex.; brothers and sisters, Marlene (Denny) Boro of Custer, S.D., Kelly (Isabel) Harless of Jackson, Miss., Steve (Elizabeth) Harless of Eaton, Colo. and Teresa (Charles) Wilkerson of Rayville, La.; and numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial has been established in his name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.
Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 9, at Adams & Swanson Funeral Chapel. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so from noon to 6 p.m. today and Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home.
