ALBERT HERMAN Obituary
82, of Harmony Twp., formerly of Leet Twp., died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born April 14, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA was the son of the late Albert and Cecilia Bastian Herman. Albert retired from U.S. Airways as an aviation engineer, he was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Quaker Valley Flyers and enjoyed amateur radio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. Boss Herman 2002; four brothers, Edward, Jerry, Raymond, and James Herman. He is survived by five children, Albert Herman, Sewickley, Michael and Barbara Herman, Leetsdale, Jeffrey Herman, Harmony Twp., Joyce and Travis George, Marshall Twp., Jason and Kelly Herman, Harmony Twp.; four grandchildren, Travis, Alyssa, Clara, and Willa; one sister, Rosemarie Kelly, Michigan; also many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the GABAUER - MATTER FUNERAL HOME, 1133 Church Street, Ambridge, PA 15003 gabauermatterfuneralhome.com, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Private interment will follow.

Albert, Michael, Jeffrey, Joyce, and Jason - You have my deepest sympathy and prayers during this time of loss. I will always remember the good times we spent with your family when we were all growing up and things were much simpler!
