Albert Perry Obituary
Born in Saluda County, SC, November 15, 1932, son of the late Johnnie and Rosella Boyd Perry.
He was a 1951 graduate of Twin City High School, a US Army Veteran, a retired employee of Miliken Plant Saluda and a member of Peerless Masonic Lodge #214. And he was also a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, member of the Senior Choir and Male Chorus.
He is survived by; his wife, Mamie L. Perry of the home; daughters, Glenda P. Coleman (Michael) of Saluda, SC and Beverly Springs of Columbia, SC; son, Reverend Vincent (Anglia) Perry of Fountain, SC; sister, Rosie Lee Harris of Hollis, NY; seven grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Rosie M. Perry, Saluda, SC and Hattie Perry, Jamaica, NY;and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
A Celebration of his life will be 12 P.M. Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Lockhart Baptist Church with Reverend Vincent Perry - Eulogist and Reverend Richard Jackson, Presiding. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 11 A.M.
Public viewing will be 2-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home 482 Denny Highway, Saluda, SC and masks will be observed.
Butler and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the Perry Family.
