Alex & Adrian Trujillo Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 27, 2010.
Alexander Trujillo Jr. was a modest man, quiet and observant in his ways. He was trustworthy and traditional in his approach to his life and in his relationships. He was tough-minded with the kind of "stick to it" attitude that earned the respect of all who knew him. He was also a man who was meticulous, carefully disciplined, and orderly in virtually everything he undertook. Realistic about life, he was always at the ready, prepared to take on responsibility.

Alexander was born on June 13, 1977 at Long Beach Memorial Hospital in Long Beach, California. He was the son of Alex Trujillo, Sr. and Christine Trujillo. Alexander grew up in San Bernardino, California.

Alexander was raised with three siblings. He had older sister Jenni; younger sister, Melanie and younger brother Chris. Alexander was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.

As a young boy, Alexander had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. Alexander was an active child who took part in baseball and karate. He was a boy scout. In his spare time he liked racing remote control cars and going to the beach. Alexander's memorable achievements included building Lego's and drawing. However, to Alexander, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.

A typical teenager, Alexander had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers. His favorite class in high school was art.

Always considered a "good" friend to those he knew, Alexander enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during his lifetime. Later in life, he became friends with Juan.

On January 31, 2004 Alexander exchanged wedding vows with Roxanne Lange at Enchanted Garden Wedding Chapel of Palm Springs. Empathic and loyal, Alexander was committed to making his new family happy.

Alexander worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Alexander was blessed with two children, two sons Adrian and Ethan.

Fortunately, Alexander enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Alexander worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was as an Foreman. He was employed for Squires Lumber for 6 years. Alexander always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

Alexander enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were remote control cars, video games and electronics. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.

Alexander found pleasure in sports. Recreational sports included hiking and swimming. Alexander was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite events whenever he had the chance to do so.

Alexander enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for him to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included taking the kids to amusement parks.

Alexander was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was Tigger, a orange stripe cat. They were best friends for 10 years. His family was rounded out by his various cats, dogs and fish.

Alexander passed away on June 19, 2010 in San Bernardino, California. He was shot by his ex wifes father, his son Adrian was killed. His son Ethan and their mother shot but survived. He is survived by his son Ethan, his sisters Jenni and Melanie; brother Chris, father Alex and Mother Christine; his ex wife Roxanne. Services were held at Mt. View Memorial Chapel. Alexander was laid to rest in Mt. View Cemetery in San Bernardino, California.

Simply stated, Alexander was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Alexander leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Alexander Trujillo Jr.

My prayers for healing are with Alex's family. I remember Alex as a wonderful devoted father and a man of integrity. He was a gentle man with a gentle soul. It is my hope and prayer that God holds your family in His Hands and that you find comfort and peace.

My prayers are with Alex's family and with Roxanne. I attended the service today and was blessed to have known Alex for quite a few years. He was the most happy go lucky, funniest and sincere person I know. I remember when he realized he was going to be a father, And I remember when he brought his son over for the first time, he was the happiest and proudest papa. I recently was looking at some photos with some friends and seen a photo of Alex holding his son....the perfect moment for a proud new daddy. I also recently lost my mother and I offer my sincere condolances to the family and only know that God truly has a plan, and even at this moment when it seems unfair, just know that he was loved and cared about by so many and touched the lives of everyone with his laughter and he will be missed.

May God give you strength to endure this pain of loss, until you are reunited with your loved one's again. Know your Father in Heaven will care for them and love them, and he has not forsaken you. He will always be with you. This life can be so unfair, know our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time of grief and sadness. God Bless you all!
