Alexander F. Berger "Alex" passed away at the age of 29 on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Alex lost his battle, but not without leaving his mark on this world. William Cannon Drive, Bld. D, Suite 101, Austin, Texas 78749. Donations will be used as a scholarship to help families struggling with this illness.

Dear Pat and Brandon- my deepest sympathy and prayers. Alex was always respectful calling me Miss Erika. Many sleepovers and I will always think of his smile and laugh. May he be rejoicing in heaven and smiling at us. Until we meet again sweet boy!

Dearest Pat and Brandon,
My heart is heavy for your family. Alex will be deeply missed, as I look back on our trips together as simpler and joyful times during Alex and I's childhood. Alex had a kind heart and willingly put himself out there to get to know others and share his friendship. Alex had his struggles like any of us, but whenever I was with him, it was quite apparent how much y'all cared for him, and he knew that. I will pray for Alex and you all in this time, and I send all my love.

Pat and Brandon, my heart is heavy with grief over the loss of your precious son. As I got an opportunity to know Alex a bit in his adulthood, as I worked with him, his inquisitive and intellectual spirit amazed me. I know he had some big struggles in this life but he had such a heart for other people and his parents. We had some deep spiritual conversations that touched me deeply. You two raised a fabulous young man. I am blessed to have met Alex and built a small relationship with him. I pray that he benefited from meeting me as I did from meeting him. I love you guys, and I´m just a phone call away.

So sorry Pat and Brandon for your loss. Alex was part of our family as well and we are saddened with his loss. We have many fond memories of camping, fishing, hunting, water skiing with the Berger family. Alex was one of the guys with wit, humor and respect who held his own. I will always cherish the father son trips with Justin and Alex. Alex will be missed but I know he is in heaven at peace. Till we meet again buddy.

Brandon, so sorry to hear of your son´s passing. I am sure your son had many of the same traits I have known you for such as being a caring, compassionate, and driven person. My heart aches for the burden that has been placed on you and your wife at this time. Please lean on your relationship with each other and let God comfort you in this trying time. None of us have the answers of why things happen but we must have faith in God that he will help you through these tough times ahead. Pray that Alex is happy in his place in heaven and know he will see you again some day in the future. Remember all the great memories y´all had as a family and find comfort in them. Your sports car family love you dearly. God bless y´all.

Pat and Brandon, I'm so very sorry for your loss. My heart is just broken for you both. I pray God will hold you and give you his comfort. I have sweet memories of when the boys were little and they played together. Alex, Jacob and Andy. They loved Pokemon and watching cartoons. Much simpler times for them then. I pray that your precious memories of the good times will take away some of the pain you are experiencing.
