We didn't know Alexis personally, but we've known the McDevitt family for years, so we are certain she was very special and very loved. There are no words to help with this kind of pain, but know that we hold you in our hearts and are keeping you in our prayers. Much love, Margaret and Tony Stephens

My deepest condolences to your family. I highly admired Alexis. She is a mother I aspire to be like. I know she loved her family fiercely and she was an amazing person. I looked up to her. I will continue to keep the family in my thoughts and prayers. With love, Melissa Lewis.

Julia & Wayne and Isabella, my heart is broken for you and your family. Alexis was a fun bright, funny little girl as I remember her in the days when she and my daughter, Laura Hope were best friends at IHM school. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers during this unimaginably difficult time.
