Alice Fahey Obituary
Alice graduated from Covina High School and Dominican College, where she met the love of her life, Jerry Fahey. They married in 1951 and settled in Covina to raise their six children. Their marriage spanned more than 72 years, filled with love, faith, and family. Alice briefly worked as a teacher before dedicating herself to raising her children and serving as a devoted volunteer. She was deeply involved with Sacred Heart Parish and Damien High School, where her sons attended for 15 years.
The crowning glory for Alice was the arrival of grandchildren. She delighted in her new role as "Nana". From sleepovers to arts and crafts and games to making hobo stew, life was always an adventure with Nana.
Alice had boundless energy and it was her mission to get people together for a cause or just a good time. Alongside Jerry, she graciously hosted countless gatherings, including weddings, parish events, family and school reunions, and their beloved annual Fourth of July celebration.
Alice is survived by her sons Chris (Lori), Tom, and Mike (Maryanne); her daughter Katy (Tony); daughter-in-law Sue; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 28 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, daughter Terry, and son Pat.
She always maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, love of family and friends and deep gratitude to God for her enchanted life. She will be forever remembered.
A wake will be held at the Fahey home on Friday, March 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will take place at Sacred Heart Chapel (where Alice was baptized and married), 381 W. Center St., Covina, on Saturday, March 8, at 9:30 a.m.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Alice had a big impact on my life, getting me involved with the CCW and ACCW, with Sacred Heart Church. She was a wonderful lady, gracious, and kind. I´ll never forget her.

I will always cherish having such an amazing Nana. She´ll be remembered as the star of our family. Lover of golf, the best hostess in town, a friend to all and number one chocolate malt maker. Love you so much Nana.

My condolences to everyone in the Fahey/Kerckhoff families. My last visit to California was in 2015 when your parents´ graciously hosted the Kerckhoff family reunion. It was heartwarming to be reunited with family from my grandmother´s lineage.
