The last time I talked with Al, he was bright and cheerful. I will always remember his smile. This seemed to happen so suddenly. I know I will see him again when I go to be with the Lord. My wife and I will miss him at church. I will pray for the Lord to bring peace and comfort to his family.

I will truly miss seeing Al at Crossroads.....he always had a big smile and a warm hug. Al was very sweet to my boys, and we all loved talking about college football, professional golf, or any other sport. :o)

My Step-Dad Al taught me many things. He taught me how to play golf and was my personal putting coach. He taught me about sports, and we would spend afternoons yelling at the TV. We enjoyed many things in common - an appreciation of music and Japanese food. We would go out to get sushi and then would chat in Japanese together. I will remember his mischievous smile and sense of humor.
With love, his Step-Daughter.

Al and I had some fun chats at Krispy Kreme during the time I started to repair his computer where we would get a donut and coffee or juice. Al always insisted on buying. we would talk about golf, and this that and the other thing, but mostly about family. He adored his family - he beamed about them. And we would see each other at choir. He had a great smile - suddenly it would be there and it made you grin. I miss him already.

Al will always be remembered as someone who loved to worship and sing to His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a friend and encouragement to everyone in the Crossroads Church Chior. We pray the Lord comfort his family. He will be greatly missed.
