To the Watts family my deepest condolences. I just found out of Al's passing through Keith and Jay Murphy. Al and I where childhood friends that loved to play whiffle ball in my back yard. Al will be truly missed.

Al was a great friend to my family and I and was one of my dad's most trusted associates in the real estate business. I can remember coming home from class or practice to Al sitting at the kitchen table, calmly trying to talk my dad out of whatever crazy scheme he'd concocted that week. After my dad passed away in 2009 it was Al who helped me to carry on that business, spending countless hours in the car driving to potential investment properties. The wisdom and insight he provided me during this time was invaluable and I can't begin to thank him enough for his guidance throughout one of the hardest situations I've ever dealt with.-Billy Weiler

Dear all. WE Eggerts are so very truly sorry for your loss. Your Al. He fought the brave fight. I believe his work here on earth was done-and our Lord called him home to be with Him. What a kind, sweet, loving man. You are all in our prayers. Love, Sandi Eggert.

My heart and my prayers are with Sharon and the Watts and McHenry families. I know the struggle has been long and hard and I am so sorry for your loss. Jeanne has shared with me how very wonderful Allen was and how many times his remarkable humor and gift for story-telling saved tough moments. What a precious legacy -- it is an honor to know him through these beautiful memories.

I met Allen through our mutual friend George, Homeowners' founder, a dear friend who also passed away far too young. Allen helped me with real estate needs twice, not as my agent, but as a friend of a friend; and in doing so demonstrated devotion, loyalty and love to the sanctity of friendship.
In recent months I called him for help in selling the home of my in-laws. His efforts on that recent transaction far exceeded what I expected, and again, all done in the sacred trust of friendship, that is, loyalty to the vision of his mentor and our mutual colleague and friend, George.
The integrity of both of these men far exceeded the professional expectations of the real estate field. Allen put me as a person first, far ahead of the deal, educating me with his knowledge delivered with skill and quiet enthusiasm, in this most recent case, for the welfare of my in-laws. Allen went out of his way to make a delivery of needed documents despite the challenges and compromises brought on by the unspoken illnesses he was suffering. And he was not even our hired agent, simply a friend; someone who welcomed my call should I need his caring expertise.
I write because I feel a kinship with Allen though I only spoke with him on the matters mentioned above. In both of those cases I never felt indebted to him because we were working together on business; rather he was meeting the needs of a friend. It is remarkable that he made me feel this way. He certainly championed the people he served with the value and knowledge he delivered.
Condolences to all who held him dear.

I will always cherish the memories that I have about and with Al as a child, as a teen, and as an adult. He was a private person with strong moral values and a credit to his community and family. I am proud to have been a member of the same family as he is. He will be forever in my heart. The world is not balanced today as an important part of my life's memories is missing. God Bless Eric & Debbie and Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Al as life goes on without Al. I love you all and I am at your disposal in whatever you need to get through.
