Alpha Raymond "Al" Ryan

Alpha Raymond Ryan, known affectionately as Al, passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 84 in Texas City, Texas, where he was also born. January 20,1940 Al spent his formative years attending Santa Fe Elementary and Santa Fe High School.

Al dedicated many years to his career as a skilled welder and also worked as a limousine driver for Galveston Limousine Service under Dominic Noto. His work was not just a job but a significant part of his life that he immensely enjoyed.

Al was a man who loved the outdoors, with fishing, hunting, and camping being some of his favorite activities. His sense of humor and love for telling jokes brought laughter and joy to those around him. Al was a cherished figure in his family, celebrated as a loving father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his brothers, Warren (deseased) and Jim;, His sons, Raymond,(deseased) Randy and his wife Missy, and Jerald and his wife Nelly; and his daughters, Alisa and her husband Joe, Angela and her husband Mike, and Brandi and her husband Roy. Al's legacy continues through his 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including his nephew Gary Ryan and niece Janet.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances. ,and Roxy Irene Ryan; his wives, Jerilyn Martin Ryan and Shirley Bocco Ryan; and his son, Raymond Ryan his brother Warren Ryan

Services to honor Al's life are scheduled for Tuesday, August 20, at 7:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 215 FM 517 East, Dickinson, Texas 77539. His life and laughter will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
