I remember growing up playing AYSO with Amber and Coral, seeing them perform at Encore Theatre, and going to school with both of them at Live Oak and then Tulare Union. Amber was always such a kind, sweet person who lit up every room she walked in to. It broke my heart to hear the news last week of her passing. My heart goes out to her husband and kids, Ron and Donna, siblings, and her in-laws. She had an impact on so many people throughout her life and she will be missed and remembered.

I met Amber years ago. She was shopping for her daughter in Justice for Kids. She had in hand a salad from Bravo Farms, we discussed our love for their salad's. Needless to say we discussed fitness. She was so kind and gave me helpful tips on eating healthy. Then she gave me her number and said to call her anytime and she would give me info, to participate in her class. From then on, I would see her children and her out shopping, we kept in touch other ways. She always had a smile on her face, and was very encouraging. My heart aches for her children and husband,or anyone who had the privilege of meeting her. My prayers have continued for the Koetsier and Blain family.Truly a God Fearing woman. I admired her. Rest in Peace pretty girl. You will be immensely missed...muah

October 4, 2015

I met Amber in 7th grade after transferring to a new school district. We cheered together at Live Oak in 8th grade. Amber was the kindest and most genuine person I knew in her adolescence.

She was admired by all for her wit, intellect and beauty (not to mention her knack for fashion :) ). Above all else I admired Amber for her ability to motivate and inspire others in their time of need. She encouraged me to believe in myself. To not let the hurtful things children say to each other sting because they are unaware of the magnitude and power of their words at such a young age. She always saw the best in everyone and around her you wanted to be the best you in return.

I hope she knew how meaningful her acts of kindness, encouragement and maturity were during a time of influence, change and growth in my life. I will never forget her.

Amber...I remember playing house when we were children, and I would always pick you to be one of my children. I remember all of us singing at Sunday night suppers at your parents house. Yours was a smile that could light up the sky, and I know it is illuminating heaven today. I hope you are at peace, sweet girl.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

I only briefly knew Amber in school, so I never really knew her. I do remember that she was such a pretty girl with a beautiful genuine smile. My family and I are praying for youyou Ron, and your children during this time filled with sorrow and loss. I pray that you find the strength to get through this for your children Ron, they need you more than ever. You don't know me, but be assured you have tons of people praying for you and your children.

Growing up, I knew Amber as Julie's fun, beautiful older cousin, but I was blessed to really get to know her as new moms at MOPS and always enjoyed running into her throughout the years and catching up on kids and life...we just chatted about having high schoolers not very long ago. Praying that God comforts, strengthens, and gives His peace that passes all understanding to the Koetsier and Blain families as they walk through this heartbreak.

It is said one hasn't died as long as they are remembered.

. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die
