McHENRY - Sandra C. Rossmann, 64, of McHenry, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at home.

She was born Oct. 25, 1942, in Waukegan, to Emil and Alma (Anderson) Swanson. She married William Rossmann on Sept. 22, 1962, in Waukegan.

She was a homemaker who loved spending time with children. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, traveling, boating and flea markets, and she was a collector of antiques.

She is survived by her husband, William; two sons, Brian and Kevin; a daughter, Kelly; her grandchildren, Cal and Cailynn Clinge; her father and stepmother, Emil (Lyda) Swanson; a sister, Cheryl (Bob) McNeil; a stepsister, Natalie Ester; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Swanson.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, at Windridge Funeral Home, 104 High Road, Cary. The graveside service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.

Memorials may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, HDSA/Illinois Chapter "Memorial/Tribute," P.O. Box 8383, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.
