Sarasota, Florida - Amy Ross, 49, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on March 18, 1974, in Dayton, Ohio but moved to Sarasota Florida with her family when she was six.

Amy was a vibrant soul who loved to laugh and make others laugh. She had a love for music and dancing and most of all the Dallas Cowboys. She was their biggest fan and she never wavered. Amy cherished the company of others and always found joy in engaging conversations. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed making plans to go out with friends, whether it was for a meal, a movie, a trip to the beach, fishing or simply visiting loved ones. However, Amy also found solace in the quiet moments spent at home, surrounded by her beloved cats and dog.

Amy is survived by her parents, Mark and Barb Salley, and her three children, Brad Ross (Cynthia), Chase Reedy (Haley), and Caitlyn Reedy (Ethan), and her long-term boyfriend Tom Byron. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Cameron and Baleigh Ross. Liam, Luke, Zepplin, and Maverick Reedy. And Ensley Reedy. Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Art and Vivian Gilliam, and her brother, Curtiss Salley.

A celebration of Amy's life will be held on Saturday, October 14th, at South Shore Church in Sarasota.

Amy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched with her infectious laughter and warm spirit. May she rest in eternal peace.
