Andrea Batten Obituary
On June 15, 2002, of heart failure, at her residence in Bartow, FL, formerly of Alexandria, VA. She retired from the Federal Government as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff of Logistics. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees; member of the Peace Creek Baptist Church, Bartow, FL; and a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Broadus H. Batten. She is survived by three sons, James Batten, Jacksonville, FL, Marshall Scott Batten, Bartow, FL and Michael Batten, Washington, IN; two sisters, Saranel Osborne, Falls Church, VA, Faye Wyrick, Arlington, TX; one brother, Joseph W. Scott, Jr., New Zealand; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. Funeral Friday, June 21, 10 a.m. at HEATH FUNERAL CHAPEL, Lakeland, FL 863-682-0111.
