Andrew was a friend, mentor and comrade without peer. His company illuminated our lives with humour, learning, empathy and above all the love bestowed by both his faith and his nature. I will think of him and miss him for the rest of my life. Go in grace, Wheels. Blade.

Dear Andrew, You inspired me with your love of English and poetry. They were very special years teaching HSC with you at Randwick Tech College. But you were more than a colleague, you were a close friend of all our family. We have many happy memories of our curry dinner parties at Chez Mermaid avenue. With our love from all of us, George, Cathy, Karen and Paul, Kim and Dave, Colette and James. Cathy Turney, Castaways Beach, Queensland.

Dearest Andrew, thanks for being such a great friend and wonderful raconteur! Will always remember our trips to Walsingham and Canterbury and all our fun dinners together. Rest in peace. Will miss you. Love Kim and Dave xxx
