Andrew´s personality is so larger than life that he will remain with us. I worked with him years ago and still have such brilliant memories of that. Total icon and legend to all the physios lucky enough to work with him. He always spoke of his family- his kids and grandkids and of course Beth. He disguised his love and pride in humour (badly- as it was clear he was a softie for his family). I´m so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by so many.

Andy frequented my Chinese family restaurant in the heart of Porirua for many years. I met Andy more than 10 years ago and he will be remembered as a friendly happy go-lucky man, always with a great sense of humour. I am saddened by the news of his passing. My thoughts are with his wife Beth and his children, may you find strength in these difficult times ahead. I hope his funeral was a great nod to his great accomplishments and wonderful life.

Andrew loved his profession and his physio whanau. He and I had some pretty lively debates at times, which I usually lost! (I can see him rolling his eyes as I write this). I went to him many times over the years for a clinical second opinion. He really loved mentoring and teaching and many junior physios and physio students benefited from his knowledge but he also loved learning from them and said they kept him up to date. He was a very kind friend and protective and supportive of colleagues if they were having a tough time for any reason. And he grew beautiful sweet peas!

Andrew was one of a kind. I was lucky to have been taught by him, as well as work alongside him. Always sitting in his chair with his feet up on his desk, hands behind his head and sharing some wisdom (physiotherapy related or not). He also knew how to make a workplace fun. Andrew was always happiest when talking about his wonderful family - his amazing wife, talented kids and gorgeous grandkids. My thoughts are with you. He will be missed by all.
