Anita MacDONALD Obituary
Peacefully at Laurier Manor on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank MacDonald. Predeceased by her brothers Roland (late Margaret), Charles (Mary) and Gerry (Late Ruby)and her niece Karen Taylor. Dear aunt of Stan Taylor, Elaine Taylor, Janice McIntyre, Marilyn Anderson, Sheila Brisson and Anita Gardner. The family wishes to thank Laurier Manor for their care and support. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday March 7, 2013 at 11 am at St. Augustine's Church, 1060 Baseline Road (at Merivale). Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. In memoriam donations to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation- Karen Taylor Nursing Excellence Fund would be appreciated.

I had the privilege of volunteering with Anita for many years while I lived in Ottawa. She was a fantastic woman and great friend. She will be missed. My condolences to the family - I know you've lost a very loving woman.
