When I spoke to Ann's husband, Alan Rabin on Sept. 28, 2016 as I sent two Jewish New Year cards and I did get a reply, he told me that Ann passed away July 24, 2016. I was shocked and saddened to learn of same despite my wishing Alan a happy birthday. I want to convey my condolences and express my heartfelt sympathy to Alan and family. In addition to Hadassah, I also sent a donation to the Brooklyn Public Library at Cadman Plaza in her memory. Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to all. Let's hope for better and brighter things to come now and in the future years to come.

I just learned of Ann's passing today as I was confirming her address online, since I had not received a Holiday Card. She,was my friend for over,35 years. I met her in NYC and we stayed friends, throughout so many changes and upheavals. Not even a geographic challenge could stop her from having my back. What a planner she
was; lunches, dinners and tickets..were,all her forte. I was planning to meet,up with her and Alan in September but I now face a huge gap. What a loss for all of us who will miss her zany sense of humour and kindness. Loved to hear of her happiness with Alan and about all those trips..may you RIP, eternally.

Dear Alan and Family,

I was saddened to hear of Ann Gail's passing. She was a childhood casual friend, a year ahead, so I always looked up to her.

I remember growing up with Ann in Peabody. We were Bat Mitzvah together with 15 Girls on a Sundsy morning. We socialized together At Sons of Israel Synagogue and at the Community Center.
Ann was very smart and knew a lot about different things and was very well read.

Please accept my deepest Sympathy for your loss.
Sincerely,
Natalie Goulston Baff

I have known Ann Gail for my entire life - 75 + years...I'll miss her phone calls and hand written letters on whatever paper she could find...the original recycler!
